For several years, the Heinze Academy has been successfully conducting hydrogen expert qualifications in German-speaking regions. Our courses are offered in a hybrid format or entirely digital via our eAcademy learning platform, ensuring full flexibility for all participants. Our didactic expert team is supported by renowned lecturers from the business sector.
As a logical consequence, and in view of the ongoing internationalization and the existing shortage of skilled workers, Heinze Academy has committed itself to training qualified professionals for companies worldwide. A first education project was successfully launched and continued in cooperation with AHK Chile in October 2023.

Green Hydrogen Training Program in Santiago de Chile
On September 29, 2023, we successfully launched our very first Hydrogen training program in Santiago de Chile. In cooperation with AHK Chile and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), this training program is part of the international hydrogen ramp-up program (H2Uppp) of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). It promotes projects and market development for green hydrogen in selected developing and emerging countries as part of the National Hydrogen Strategy.
This program is structured into a Train-the-Trainer workshop, followed by on-site training for participants with selected lecturers, supported by our online learning platform. The following contents were covered:
- Module 1 - Introduction to H₂
- Module 2 - Regulations, Standards, and Risk Assessment
- Module 3 - Basic Safety Principles
- Module 4 - Development of Safe and Commercially Viable H₂ Systems
Due to the success of our first run, we are already planning the next courses in Santiago de Chile in 2024. Other countries are following soon, stay tuned.

The Heinze Academy was founded in 1937 by Harriet Erna Heinze as a technical drawing school. Mrs. Heinze was not only the founder but also the first lecturer, teaching standard-compliant drawing in her living room.
Since its inception, the Heinze Academy has been managed since 2003 in the third generation with the entrepreneurial spirit of an owner-operated business. The associated liability and responsibility for the success of the course participants and clients are reflected in the innovative strength and sustainability of the Heinze Academy.
